I had a dream last night about unvanquished, and the players were doing a zombie-mode human vs. human gamemode of sorts. I asked what if was called, and they said "spike". Here are some tentative rules based on that, although with modifications.
The respawn rate is 5 seconds
All humans start out as god
At 30 seconds, all buildings are destroyed
At 45 seconds, all players lose god mode
The round continues until all opposing players are dead
Evos carry over between rounds
There are an odd number of rounds; whichever team wins the most rounds wins.
Based on an average round length of 2-3 minutes, a good number of rounds for a medium length game would be 15. For shorter rounds, 5 would probably be a good number, and for longer round (>=60 minutes), 25 would work.
I had a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

A similar trem mod has been made in the past, and it was somewhat successful until it stopped being updated.. I've recorded a few games, and this is what it looks like:

The "bronze/silver/gold" medals are inspired by L4D's survival mode so it isn't original. After 10:00, dead players and spectators may join zombies and help kill off the rest of the survivors. There was a little "cheat" thing where zombies actually had like a range of 1000 or so units so you could 'snipe' out humans out of reach.
There's more to explain but it's too much.
No, I don't. What happens here is that people have a set number of spawns for the entire game. This prevents feeding, and encourages individuals to work as a team to stay alive.

Tickets. BF3 uses tickets. Same thing, only just you need to capture "zones" to prevent ur tickets from going down by itself which helps a lot, if your team doesn't feed.
