unvanquised crashes in osx mavericks

hello,

since i have no idea how github works i decided to start a thread in here ..

i am running OS X 10.9 (13A603) on a mid 2010 imac i7 2,93 ghz ..

the installer worked just fine (i used the default install location) but when i try to run unvanquished this message pops up:

couldn't load a renderer. see "/users/myusername/library/application support/unvanquished/main/crashlog.txt" for details.

funny thing is there is no such directory .. hence no crashlog.txt

any ideas what might've gone wrong?

Hello Karl,

Please make sure you are going to the right folder:

• Open Finder.

• Press SHIFT+CMD+G to bring up the "Go to the folder" dialog.

• Type in "~/Library/Application Support/Unvanquished/main" (without quotation marks).

i know there are two library folders .. i navigated to the correct one :)

nevertheless i did as asked but finder wasn't able to come up with the folder either ..

The bug where a renderer cannot be loaded in OS X Mavericks has been confirmed and we are working on fixing it. Thank you for your patience.

The bug will be resolved in the upcoming release of Unvanquished (alpha 22), scheduled for release on December 1st.
