Humans are given a field and a fixed amount of turret seeds. Once planted, turret seeds grow into a turret, say, in 2 minutes. Once fully grown, turrets can defend themselves. The goal is to grow at least 75% of the seeds into turrets, then humans win, else aliens win.

I can't remember where I posted this, but I remembering doing DC farming. My reactor was practically indestructable unless you managed to deal at least 930 dmg in one second (i.e. tyrant crush). There were actually so many DCs that even some models started disappearing.
If you want to plant some stuff, build flowers. They cost 1 bp and take up like no space.
