Need some help with missing models

Hey guys,
I used the 0.7.0 installer on source forge installed it and ran the game perfectly. but I appear to be missing models for the turrets, acid tubes, dretches and seeing you gun when human. any ideas/help would be much appreciated as this makes the game near unplayable...

Are you sure that you have all pak files installed? Which OS are you on?

I'm running windows 7, 64 bit and just ran the 0.7.0 installer. I might not have all the pak files is there anywhere I can get them?

The script should have downloaded them for you. If not, they're all there. The most recent is pak6.pk3. You'll need pak0 through pak6 in your data directory.

I have the exact same problem, except with every single new release you guys make. I'm sorry to say but its one of the main reasons I dont bother downloading the new one anymore.

I got a hold of and replaced the pak files but still no models... any other ideas?

What are you render settings? Vanilla or Gl3 ? (use the command cl_renderer)
Try changing your render settings from whatever they are.

I had the same issue after updating to Alpha 8; the only file missing was md5sums, for me. Works like a charm now :)
