I'd prefer if lisk moved more towards support with force amplification abilities rather than just being a strong 1v1 alien. Support lisk should be fairly easy to learn while 1v1/stealth lisk can remain as it is and be something more advanced players can learn. The trick is making support lisk fun to play/more engaging then he is at the moment without wrecking stealth lisk.

Re: Small ideas & miscellaneous suggestions!
Why don't we have an alien that costs 1 evo, but rewards the team for having one existing, as well as the player? Something like the current basi has, except it can tank quite a fair amount of damage, cannot grab, slow moving alien (for once, we actually need a slow alien that is not a granger), and deals weak damage, and has a limited ranged weak projectile weapon as a secondary? (so far, only adv maras and goons dare to actually attack the human base, so it lacks variety now)
Simple recap for this 'new' alien:
High health value
Slow mover
Small
Weak damage dealer
Has an even weaker limited range projectile secondary (we could say the projectile explodes mid air, or is effected by 'air friction' that we could implement later)
Has a healing aura equivalent to a creep's value (makes basi still useful)
Gains an evo for every 1000 hp it heals of others
I guess this could be added to this new 'vulture' alien you guys were planning...

First off, I think adv. basi's gas should be improved.
Maybe if you made the gas stay in the air for a bit instead disappearing right away, and if the gas actually made the humans inaccurate rather than just impairing vision, it would be a step in the right direction.

Could not agree more, this would encourage newer less skillful players to take on the basilisk role. Instead of it being used exclusively by better players.

Both. Add both.
Actually make the intoxication similar to Bulletstorm's alcohol effect [you gain extra points for killing while intoxicated as well]. Man that'd be fun.

Re: Small ideas & miscellaneous suggestions!
Just three random suggestions I was thinking about, regarding server administration. It might be nice to incorporate some more advanced tools into the QVM, or perhaps even the client. Including, but not necessarily limited to:
- A tool to view the binary format of a specified IP (by manual IP input or ban #), which could save some time when calculating netmasks for evaders
- A tool to go over all bans and/or other IP databases, and output certain netmask IP matches (user specifies netmask, command outputs neat little groups)
- Built-in IP lookup
Obviously, the second tool would kinda beat the purpose of the first one, since the only reason I can see one would regularly transpose IPs to their binary format is to deal with evaders.
0 = 0
Quod erat demonstrandum.

Well… that's fixed – it's just how much is network and how much is local; and enough information here is usually available via whois.

Same network, you mean?
- Built-in IP lookup
Agreed, though a combination of /namelog and host(1) works fine for that :)

True…
Debian and Ubuntu packages (squeeze, wheezy, sid; 12.04, 12.10, 13.04) may work on derivatives
OFFEND! … no, that's not right… ATTACK!

Don't know if it's been posted elsewhere, but the human models look a bit silly. Even myself, with my thin build and nerdy look have more flesh on my arms.
They honestly look like toothpicks, and need to be more like hardened marines.
Also, why do they have a white-y camouflage suit that looks more like something used on the Russian front during the Second World War?

You can check out the new human model that will be in the next alpha. It looks pretty sweet to me.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about that one. He did mention:
