In the days preceding March 22nd 2025, you removed yourself your permission to merge

I did. That was a protest after you had taken away my permission to speak in the chat channels. I figured that if this project really wants contributions, some moderate protest against your admin abuses might spark a productive discussion. But all that happened is that you made clear that I will never again be allowed to merge into this project.

In the hope of facilitating the doing of it, following your message on this forum thread, on June 21st 2025 I gave cu-kai the task and the responsibility to merge it.

I fail to see why cu-kai has anything to do with this, apart from being friends with me. Honestly: you need to seek therapy.

He said he wants it to be merged.

It is indeed. A lot of this does not make any sense at all. If illwieckz wanted to merge my contributions, he could have done so in the past 6 months. That would barely have taken a minute of his time.

The fact that he prefers to spend his time with giving orders to bystanders is confusing, to say the least.

About blaming others from own's action

Sweet wrote: Sun Jul 13, 2025 5:20 am UTC

I did.

You can't blame others for what you do.

About protesting

That was a protest.

By protesting you're not supposed to be the one to blame for bad things.

By protesting you are supposed to show the evils of the one you’re facing by demonstrating how evil they are, not showing how evil you are.

You seem to not know what a protest is. The word protest comes from the latin verb protestari, formed from the word pro which means for like in for something, and the word testari that means to testify. To protest means to testify for. The verb can be used to testify for bad things and good things. For example the protestant religion is about testifying about what they believe to be good. With time the usage has reserved the word for testifying on bad things (affirming what is denounced), as we prefer using other words (like advocating) to testify on good things.

So, to protest is to bring something to acknowledgement for being good or bad, and in the common usage, it means to bring something to acknowledgement for being bad.

Protesting is not seeking for attention, it's about bringing something to attention.

Protesting is not about being bad oneself, it's about of designating something else as being bad.

By doing a threat you're the one to blame for bad things and your threats are the things to protest, your threats are the things to bring to acknowledgement for being bad. You are also among the ones I'm bringing the acknowledgement your acts are being bad. So here I'm the only one protesting in the actual meaning of it.

Anyway, you not knowing what the protest word means doesn't mean it's OK to act like you did, name it another way and it is still bad behaviour. If you're convinced someone did wrong and you want to bring attention on it, you are supposed to show the bad you’re facing by demonstrating how bad it is, not showing how bad you are.

after you had taken away my permission to speak in the chat channels. I figured that if this project really wants contributions, some moderate protest against your admin abuses might spark a productive discussion.

You did not protest. What you did is not protesting, but harassing people. There is no moderation possible in doing bad things.

You acted bad against others, and when I had to take measures to protect others from you, you did more bad, confirming the threats were real for those who doubted about it, like I did at first.

Protesting is never about being the bad guy and piling evilness over evilness to confirm and make sure you're the one to be protected from.

I can also answer other topics you brought. It looks like your are looking for solutions, so I can answer more. But I believe this message was long enough, so this is good for now.

It also makes no sense that you close your PR and then complain that it isn't merged yet.
Since you want to create unnecessary work for others, by making it more laborious, you have to wait until someone has interest in it and some time available.

Kai, who is not just some random bystander but a fellow unv developer, has already voiced his interest in merging the changes, so you will have to wait until he get time to do it. And if he doesn't wants to do it anymore you will have to wait until someone else looks at it.

This is a volunteer project and you have no right to demand when or by whom something is contributed.
