So I know how to test maps in urban terror, but is it the same in tremulous or unvanquished? How would I go about testing my map?
Also I am missing the tremulous.def file and I'm not sure sure if there's a .def for unvanquished? I just need them so I can add spawn areas and what not as well as building clips.

Re: Testing
Once you compile your map, put it in your fs_homepath base folder. (Windows: C:/Users/Username/AppData/Roaming/Daemon/main/, Linux: ~/.Unvanquished/main/)
sv_pure 0 (Probably unneeded)
/devmap nameofyourmap
And for now most people are using NetRadiant and regular Trem packages and just using them for Unvanquished, but seems you've already gotten that.
edit: wrong directory oops.

Re: Testing
~/.Unvanquished/main/mymap.pk3dir/… is probably easiest.
Debian and Ubuntu packages (squeeze, wheezy, sid; 12.04, 12.10, 13.04) may work on derivatives
