Pressing forward and left or right together makes marauder accelerate much faster, it's a hidden bug-feature so it's a cheat. I think this should be replaced with an intuitive and documented behavior.

Probs necro, but if he sees this. I believe it's like strafe jumping on quake. At least when I played quake it was the same.

Best Solution: set air acceleration to Zero. Done. No problems.

Marauder walking speed: 384. Marauder jumping speed: about 480. Marauder cheathacking speed: 1000+. Why is this cheat still kept? Stockholm Syndrome?
