Acid Tube Swan Song

Post by lamefun »

Here's another one of my dreams about Unvanquished I've had today.

I was lasgunning a badly built alien base with lots of exposed acid tubes. However, one acid tube, instead of quietly twitching in agony and dying upon reaching zero health, detached from the wall and ran after me, exploding in a shower of acid shortly after.

Maybe this can be made into an upgrade?

I would love to have moving buildables. Just imagine granger could order them around and move the base as a caravan.

This is an excellent idea, like whips in Natural selection 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81jCZMFqp3I.

(about the video you linked: the in-mouth view is very weird, I can't believe that someone really thought this really stupid idea was as good enough to implement it. Some people rightly complain about the awful weapon move at screen while walking, but that is unrealistic over 9000)

Imagine eating something when your eyes are in your mouth though.

I agree, in-mouth view is the worst idea that NS 2 developers have had. It's wrong in so many ways.

Well they did solve the feedback problem. We still have to find a solution for dretch and goon (and fix the first person claws for all others).
