I don't like the 5 minute delay. I prefer to go through a bunch of topics at once, and 5 minutes is too much of an interruption. 2-3 minutes would be better suited, since most solutions are written in about that time.

  1. I don't like how you have to have a solution for a problem. Sometimes I don't know what will work, and it forces me to popst something really dumb that sends down my upvotes.

  2. Solutions should be sorted based on votes, not order of creation.

I'm of the opinion that if you can't propose a solution for a problem, you probably haven't given much thought to it.

Also, it does sort by votes. It sorts by the highest vote in each problem's solution section. At the moment, the first one displayed has 9 votes. The one right below it has a solution with 8 votes, even though the other two solutions have -6 and 5.

Actually., this is not always the case. There are many times when we know there is something wrong, but don't have the expertise to pinpoint it (especially with art) or provide a satisfactory solution. If I do not know what a behaviour should be, it in no way decreases my ability to identify the current behaviour as wrong. Even after much thought, many problems remain unsolved by even the world's greatest minds. This does not decrease the existence of the problems, or the intelligence of the person. People also think in different ways; what may be unfathomable to one person may be inherently obvious to another. By putting problems out there for everyone to respond to, it allows many users to add their two cents to something, even if there is not original solution.

Make Basilisks Stronger. The solutions are, in order, solution #1 with -6 votes, solution #2 with 8 votes, and solution #4 with 5 votes.

Start a discussion on the forums and then if someone comes up with a solution post it to ideatorrent. Forums are much better for discussing an idea.

With low ping, basi is fine as is. Really, i can kill luci suits with it, and i just did 5 minutes ago about 10 times while versing mass driver. The mass driver was the hardest to tackle, so i had to keep gassing him... apart from that, basi seems fine as is.

Click the log in button on the left; don't use the prompt.
