I have two computers (Win 10 Home 10.0.19042 and Pro 10.0.19042) and I couldn't see LAN servers in either direction. There were no messages, the list just stayed empty.
On both I:
Disabled IPv6
Set the network to private
Added daemon.exe, daemonded.exe and updater.exe to the firewall exlusions
Added ICMPv4 and v6 to the firewall as well because I could only ping one way (it resolved host names, but the requests all timed out)
Renewed ip addresses
Flushed the dns cache for good measure
Restarted both multiple times
After several hours of this I finally thought to type connect 'host name' into the console and managed to connect in both directions, but still nothing in the listing. It would be nice to have the option to connect to a specific host name or ip in the ui, I just typed connect into the console and hoped it was an actual command because I couldn't find any documentation on the available console commands.
Adding a way for connect directly to the UI is a good idea. We could maybe also display the hostname/ip on the hosting servers then it could be an easy substitute until the LAN servlerlist is fixed
