The upgrade system is strange for humans. I don't see why they can't have a primary and secondary weapon that they can switch to and from freely by pressing 1 and 2 or something like that.

Alien acid tubes do less damage than human turrets and are close range. Why is this still a thing? They should do a lot of damage and keep their close range element.

In stage 1 the humans get the MD and aliens get the Mara. The MD can kill a Mara in 4 shots meaning that you only need to hit 4, making it exceptional at killing Marauders, but wait, there's more! The MD right now knocks back Marauders which makes it extremely effective at nullifying their impact in the game because Marauders in the current meta rely heavily on their jump to get the head-swipes. I acknowledge that it is a mass driver and I love the weapon to death, but I would suggest lowering the knockback slightly because it is really frustrating to my alien enemies when I shoot them once and they are stopped dead in their tracks.
