Mac Crash Report

It seems that when loading newer Unvanquished specific maps such as parpax, forlorn, platform, etc, the game crashes. The older trem maps doesn't crash. Here is the crash log. Process: daemon [4125] Path: /Users/USER/*/Unvanquished.app/Contents/MacOS/daemon Identifier: net.Unvanquished Version: 0.25...

Re: MD and Pulse Rifle reloading

Also, I forgot to mention that replenishing ammo doesn't work until the ammo in the current magazine is used up or manually reloaded with fresh magazines. Is this to prevent arm camping? It would seem that this and the above "features" are related.

MD and Pulse Rifle reloading

When buying the battery pack with either the MD or the Pulse Rifle, the total ammo capacity doesn't increase until I replace the energy clip and reload ammo at the armory or rc. Is this a feature or some kind of bug? Either way it seems unnecessary extra step.

bind configuration

None of the custom binds are working. Can't even execute the config files. Has any of that been changed?

can't load maps (a24.1 for Mac)

I can't seem to get past the "Hello World!" stage of loading map. The game just hangs there forever, forcing me to force close the game. Trying to run locally is same.

Re: Mac: No HUD, and control problems

I solved the problem of auto backward by binding the scroll to "+attack". Interestingly, using the scroll does not fire the weapon.

killing time wrote:When it gets stuck doing some action continuously, you can usually stop it by typing a command of the form /- (something).
For example, to stop walking backwards, type /-back .

However, that does not explain the inability to jump or attack as an alien.

Re: Mac: No HUD, and control problems

I think using scroll causes the problems. I had it bound to dodge and didn't bother to change it when the dodge was removed.

Edit: Never mind. The scrolls are not bound to anything yet for some reason when I use the scroll out of habit, the problem occurs.

Mac: No HUD, and control problems

On Mac version: As a human, I can only go backwards, automatically. Pressing forward only stops in place. If I let go of forward button, I'm going backwards. As an alien, I can't jump and can't attack at all. All of the above happens after some minutes into the game. I don't know what triggers them....

Compiling and installing library from source

Does compiling and installing library files from the source code also generate developer files for that library? Apparently OpenSuSE 12.3 doesn't have SDL2 and I had to download the source code from the development site and compile it (SDL2-2.0.1). After installing the library, I still get the follo...
