Missing or buggy rifle texture (MAC)
It would appear that the rifle texture is having issues with my MAC. When running the game on my linux partition it looked fine.
EDIT: Manually compiled SRC and it now seems to work.

Could you please provide more details as to your setup?
In particular,
Which version of the game were you running?
What version of Mac OS X do you have?
What model/year computer do you have? Even better, what graphics card do you have?
Is your processor 32- or 64-bit?
Were you using the GL3 (modern) renderer or the vanilla renderer? (Run the game and see what cl_renderer is set to.)

Both of apple's compilers are pretty buggy. I had this issue with 0.7 on an old version of clang and llvm-gcc where the rifle was rainbow colored.
