hi!
does the developers can "make" Unv for android?
it can be very cool!
good on the other hand it would be necessary to lighten a max the graphic calculations etc
(with my tablet which is 75 C° when it does almost nothing, I'm sure I couldn't with it...)

Do you mean playing with a keyboard and a mouse on an Android tablet?

For knowledge, we don't fully support gamepads to begin with, and doing fully touch inputs would require an huge amount of work while not being really usable. I tried Android ported games like OpenArena, well, I would need a keyboard and a mouse to find it playable…

hi!
yes we could connect a mouse to the tablet (and a keyboard)
but also play with touch...
but if it's too hard...
you have to see with the devs I guess

On Android, it's easy to use a mouse and a keyboard.

First, you need an OTG USB câble. May be you whille to build one. I did it to connect a Hub USB. Works fine.

But... this will drain the batterie.

It's more complexe if you want use external power.

hi!
Yeah it's possible!
On the other hand, it will be necessary to optimize the game as much as possible.
On the other hand, it will take a good mobile, but I think it will be nice!

Well, I'd say it sounds technically possible (not sure about OpenGLES though), but it would still be a lot of work to make it usable IMO. With controls for example; there is unfortunately not much point for a mobile game that has to be played with a keyboard

Et:Legacy has some work-in-progress effort to get their game running on Android: https://www.etlegacy.com/blog/et-legacy-on-android

Our engine has some common ancestor so maybe there are things that can be mostly copied from?
