I wanted to know why we have a limited number of callvote? ( 5 )
if it's for Spam I find that this reason is not so justified, it means that we can just do for example
vote for
1) put 5 bots
2) Put the bots in sk6
3) finally put only 3 bot
4) change map
5) go to the next map

and if there are people who vote no all the time bha we are quickly at an impasse could you increase this number? please?

that is something I completey forgot about when making the bot vote(s). The bot skill vote is not yet in upstream, but the problem is.

I am quite sure that this limit was introduced as a spam protection. I agree that we should increase this value, at least a little. Map testing server now uses a limit of 12 instead of 5.

Technical details: this is controlled by g_voteLimit, server operators can change it without patching the source code.

It should not be possible for users the change to vote limit, it is set in the server configuration. One reason to set a limit on votes is this: players can prevent useful votes by repeatedly spamming useless votes. This works, as we can only have one vote at a time.

So I'm not sure if disabling the limit completely is a good idea. I will have to talk to the team about that.

currently not.
but ishq is in the progress of adding custom vote functionality. with that servers could add such a vote

on the other hand I used 12 callvote (there was nobody) and in fact it was a bugged map, I broke all the humanis spawns and killed all the Humans and the map did not finish, and I could not put a vote for the end so I was blocked... I think you should be given an unlimited number if you are alone on the server...

that would be indeed a good addition, votes for the limit could only be counted if there are more then one player
