Today i downloaded unvanquished and i cant make a lan game :(
There is no error in the command line.
I have version 0.43 of unvanquished
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 15.04
Release: 15.04
Codename: vivid
3.19.0-28-generic
I have a AMD fx-8350
8gb DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6970 with proprietary drivers
First it looks like the game atarts but then the i come backt to the Mainmenu

Can you please download this hotfix: unvanquished_0.43.1.pk3, put it in the Unvanquished's pkg/ dir, restart unvanquished and retry to create a LAN game and say if it fix it or not?

It dont work 
Can you describe a little more the way you try to run a local game?
Are you using the game client (daemon) or the game server (daemonded), if you use the game client, do you use the graphical interface or the console?
