I agree with viech about the "red" thing in his annotated image. It looks goofy and can go. The accessory rail below the red thing can also be shortened because it looks goofy sticking out all alone.

Remove the hump on the back of the handle and at the base of the trigger guard.

The handle is a bit short and fat at the moment.

The beaver tail could also be extended and raised higher on the handle.

Hi guys,

here you have an update of the pistol model.

In reference to Janev and Viech notes, if you check video I pasted before (4:05min), you will see that this axis is a compound object of 3 diferent axis with 2 springs that helps weapon to return the cannon to its original positions and thats the main reasson I made this axis with a minor diameter- I guess that the head function is to lock those axis. Anyways if you dont like it, I will make it as a single axis ( yay, less triangles for lowpoly model  ).

I guess a single cylinder is fine either way, the spring would stay inside the sliding part and the cylinder doesn't need to actually stop anything. Not to mention you would probably not see that kind of detail for more than a few ms. Also a good improvment over the last iteration! Can you make a frontal rendering of it though? I'd use that to give some more feedback on the proportions. (I feel the width difference of the upper and lower part of the gun's "torso" is a bit odd currently.)

Apart from the frontal perspective where I dislike 1) the rectangular shape on the tip of the slide and 2) the fact that the seam isn't really visible I really like this a lot. I'll let janev give some last comments on the detailing, he's more knowledgeable about this than I am.

Viech, I don't understand your comment too well, could you give me some "visual" information to know exactly what are you refering to.

Thanks a lot for your patience.

PD: Summoning Janev... progress 15%
