Occasionally, I notice that a player connects and then disconnects immediately. This continues for several times until the player gives up. I assume that the player is having difficulty connecting to the server. What could cause this?
Pure is enabled. This may be because they do not have the correct paks (Which may be due to an incorrect upgrade). I tested unv on a new comp with the windows paks, and I can connect without a problem.
Most of the time i cannot connect excluding loading the game is usually due to the cgame file not being updated, and i get a message 'you should put on cl_allowdownload 1' when it already is on facepalm
I usually fix that by deleting the cgame file from appdata.
Other reasons why the person could be reconnecting so often is because they are prompt to download a map or other paks.
