I don't feel qualified to answer that, because I generally build from the same general base every time. I focus a lot on trappers; others focus on tubes and/or cades. Some prefer different egg layouts. Unless we can get a bunch of builders to tell us what they do, then I don't think that we could get a well-rounded description of alien building in unv.
