From the discussion in IRC it looks like the two front claws are a hit.
Also with added wing armour (stronger wings)
Visually this is coming out nicely but I assume feet are still a requirement. I don't think having it move like a worm will work (it would be unable to jump to get in the air, we would lose the possibility of wallwalk, there would be an animation issue when it comes to stairs and uneven terrain).

Hey Khaoz, did you reconsider giving the Shrike the ability to (wall)walk and jump (i.e. push itself in the air)? I like the current concept very much but legs or similiar limbs are a feature that we need even for the flying class. They can be small and fold up to the body while in air, they really just have to be strong enough to make a small jump or walk through ventilation shafts at granger speed.
Without legs it could move like the Leaper from Dead Space.
