This is kinda what I imagine the flying alien looking like.
I figure it's got the basic insect parts like you'd expect on earth, but with the odd unvanquished alien characteristics, armor plating, large mandibles, spikes.
Anti-personel, offensive
has stronger armor when landed with closed wings, but not fast or mobile. Open wing membranes are weak and if damaged become inoperable (is that possible?)
Has a strong close range attack and weak ranged, poison spit?
Stage 3. or S2 no range, no armor, fast; S3 armored, ranged, slower.

I see fast, agile, low hp alien as counter to jetpacking snipers. They was a pain in ass on some levels.

That wouldn't make sense. Make another alien class just to counter a certain aspect of the game that doesn't make a lot of sense gameplay-wise anyway?

I would like to see the flying aliens to be as swarmlike as dretches. 1 evo for slightly more health and flying powers.

i.e. adv dretch that has the ability to fly and has more health?
I had a toy which "represents" a dretch - A butterfly. It doesn't have wings though. Add wings, it can glide. I was thinking about this but totally forgot the idea when i started editing qvms.
