Approximately how many servers [on the 1.1 masterlist] were there in the year 2008?
If i remenber correctly are about 200 (but half of that almost always empy)!
i've start on Italian Tremulous Alliance servers (ITA server, ProLinux), later i've liked the unlimited bp mod server (Amsterdam Unlimited, Unlimited cz).

I'm pretty sure it was slightly over 200. I didn't have tremfusion at the time (well, it was out, but it had not many features so people simply cbf getting it) and those days, people actually limited their masterlist search to under 350 ping or so, and servers having maxping 150 etc...
I remember ITA, although i didn't know who actually owned it. I think the first time i heard it was when i had downloaded a map by ITA something in 2010...

I'm Will, a casual fan of Tremulous since 2009ish and an avid LAN partier. Tremulous was the original LAN party favorite, but it is now Unvanquished! I may eventually form an online clan, but that may take some time. In the mean time I will seek to contribute in as many ways possible, I'll have to drop by the IRC sometime

It's just a small group of friends, we vary from 6-10 depending on the week. We could grow it considerably if we changed the games we played or got other friends new/upgraded computers. If all we did was Unvanquished we probably could get quite a few more

Hi,
I play a tremulous 1.1 from a year already.
At the moment I test Unvanquished, I look Proget grow for some time already.
Nice work!
If not for those who want I can train them a little ... show them a trick ... It is unlikely to be one of the few things on which I may be making myself useful.
Vic.
