Welcome to the very first Unvanquished tournament! It is a pleasure to see you all here, and I am excited to see where this goes. Whoever reaches the top will have the honor of being the very first group to successfully win our community's first tournament, and your group will be remembered for years afterwards as we have every intention of thoroughly documenting this tournament for future readers.
Since we were surprised with the turnout, we've altered the tournament so that it is now double elimination rather than round robin. In this case, it means that each group can lose twice before becoming disqualified. That way, our tournament will take five weeks instead of thirteen. Good luck! Also, have fun.
If you don't have a group, come to the matches anyway. We are more than welcome to having spectators around, so you can watch as many matches as you'd like. In addition, if a team runs short on players, they can pick from the spectators assuming that both playing teams are fine with this. So, you can still end up playing in the tournament for one of the existing teams.
Matches can be rescheduled if the need arises. Both teams should discuss a better time, and then notify us promptly. A match can be rescheduled to any time before the next series of matches, assuming that a referee is available to document that the match took place. Any member of our development team can serve as a referee, including contributors.

Important message to those participating!
Make a thread for your clan or group in this section, with a list of the players you expect to represent your team in the tournament. It's okay if people outside your clan play with you over the course of the tournament, but at the very least they must be registered, they must consistently play with your group, and we would like a list of the people that we can expect to play. Ideally, you should get your group mates to register for the forums too, so that we can communicate with everyone involved.
