Seems like a waste of a thread, but when I make a map for Quake 3, will it run straight up in Unvanquished? Or must I do something to it to make it purdier/better?

Yes, it should run. However, you obviously need to add spawn points for both teams or else the map will end quickly.

Vill do.
See what I did there? I used a 'V' instead of a 'W' because that's how Germans pronounce it. What a clever trick I played on you.

Yay! New community meme!
Anyways, should I use:
QuaRK
GTK Radient
or
Valve Hammer?

QuaPK - I have no idea, never tried it
GTK Radiant - Works [use trem.game]
Net Radiant - Works [use Trem.game]
Valve Hammer - erm... that's for Source/Source Gold engine type games isn't it? Although it does create .bsp, that's like using C++ on a engine that uses QuakeC coding.

Valve's Hammer Editor is mainly used for games that have the Source Game Engine (Which is Valve's Franchise such as Half Life 2). Net Radiant and GTK Radiant (And from memory, QuArK too) are basically the same so whichever one you feel like using and is more comfortable to you.
Personally, I've been using GTK Radiant for my mapping.
