Enhance Your FPS with Emotional Gameplay – Ovomind Integration Idea

Post by jmovo »

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share an idea that could add a unique layer of immersion to Unvanquished. What if your character’s emotions—based on real-time biometric data—could influence gameplay?

I’m working with Ovomind, a tool that detects emotions from biosignals (heart rate, skin response, etc.). We’ve built an offline SDK that works with Unity and Unreal Engine, so you can integrate emotional mechanics before even using our smartband.

Here are some ways it could enhance an FPS:
🎯 Aim Stability – Increased heart rate from stress makes aiming less steady.
🛡️ Adrenaline Boost – Fear or excitement gives a short speed/reflex bonus.
🔇 Stealth Factor – A calm state reduces noise when sneaking.
💀 Panic Effect – If fear spikes, your vision blurs, or your hands shake.

Would love to hear your thoughts! Do you think this could bring something fresh to the game? If you’re interested in testing it out, check out our SDK here: https://ovomind.com/for-developer/

Let’s make FPS games more immersive! 🚀
