Reassignment policy

Post by Viech »

So, we entered 2014 and we'd like to reach Beta state by the end of this year. This means we need to get all the old Tremulous assets replaced with new shiny ones. While we can afford to spend as much time as quality demands (we don't have a publisher in our back after all), we can't afford to waste much time waiting on input from artists that left the boat in the middle of an assignment.

So, while I'm sure for most of you this goes without saying, please tell us as soon as you know you can't continue to work on something, so we can reassign the task to someone else without further delay.

If you are working on your first assignment, we'll reopen the task if we don't hear a word from you for more than three weeks. If you completed another task before, you may disappear for up to six weeks before we'll reassign. If you didn't make progress for a while but still want to finish your work that's fine, just update the thread in time so we see that you're still around. However, adding cute cat pictures to your post is required in this case. (We refer to this as a catline for your work.)

Thanks for your understanding. Let's get this game ready for Beta!
