Blender Map Exporter

Post by Xembie »

Hi all!,

Sorry to the few who were waiting but I have just released the map exporter @ https://sourceforge.net/projects/q3mapexporter/. I eventually plan to move it to Github! Please check it out and report any errors!

Thanks,
Darren

Woah! That looks interesting, can you explain how it works?

I've looked at the code and it looks like it even uses Blender renderer for lightmaps. IMO Unvanquished should ditch NetRadiant and use Blender plugins for mapping.

This sounds interesting indeed. I wonder if a mapper with blender skills would like to try a test map?

Xembie, could you tell gavlig more about this? You can just post it in this thread, I'm sure anyone else reading it would find it informative.
