Ubuntu Install/Config/Run

Hey guys,
So I'm still learning Linux, and this seems like another one of those old school confusing ways to install a game. I think in the end, I did everything in the console. As a result, I now have this installed in my Downloads folder. It runs, but I'd like it to run like all of my other apps, whether thru the graphical menu in XFCE, or at the very least by searching.

Am I able to just move the whole 'unvanquished_0.43.0' folder somewhere, or do I need to move different parts to different places? And where would I move them? It seems that Linux has a very simple system for where it puts apps, but I want to make sure that something isn't 'committed' to making me either leave it here or re-install it to get it in the right place. And if I DO need to reinstall it, where do I extract the files to, since they seem to be the key to it all?

Lastly, running the actual game. Right now, I'm navigating to the folder and running the file named "daemon". Is this correct? If so, am I able to just create some kind of shortcut or alias somewhere that will allow me to just double click something that is Named 'Unvanquished', rather than navigate to this folder?

I'm pretty sure I hosed this install in some way, but I DID get the game to run, which really is the ultimate goal. :-)

Basically. You just have to run the daemon executable. Any shortcut for it would suffice. Some .desktop files can be found here: https://github.com/Unvanquished/Unvanqu ... ed.desktop

Cool, then I have it working correctly. Right on. Thanks, I'll keep it as-is and create a shortcut. Awesome. Thanks again!
