Hey guys.

So, like a loveable character on a sit-com, I came for a while, got killed off abruptly, then the audience demanded more of me. More or less.
Then I see there's a new download, the Universal one. Sounds sexy.
>Be me downloading
Be me opening the .app file straight from the folder I downloaded
MFW It tells me there was an error and my .pak files aren't existent.

Running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.1
Just want to know if there was some files that need moving or if I'm just incapable.

>MFW I'm sent a picture of all the pretty new models.

EDIT: My GreenText wasn't green.

Could you be more specific about the error? Also logs from ~/Library/Application Support/Unvanquished/ would help. (crashlog.txt and daemon.log)

Dealio.

tty console mode disabled
Unvanquished 0.24.0 Mac OS X x86_64 Feb 3 2014
-psn_0_4166649
Home path: /Users/Home/Library/Application Support/Unvanquished
Pak path: /Applications/unvanquished/Unvanquished.app/Contents/MacOS/pkg
Pak path: /Users/Home/Library/Application Support/Unvanquished/pkg
Could not load base pak 'unvanquished', falling back to default

There's the Daemon log. If you want, I can post the CrashLog, but it's the same, only difference in Daemon opens up in Terminal, not in TextEdit.

This is strange, it seems the app isn't loading the correct executable. Can you try (from a Terminal) executing Unvanquished.app/Contents/MacOS/unvanquished.sh?

Result from terminal:

-bash: Unvanquished.app/Contents/MacOS/unvanquished.sh: No such file or directory

Now, with my brilliant deduction skills…. I can assume Unvanquished.sh is not there.

"Confound it Holmes!" Watson ejaculated, "You've deduced it old friend!"

I think I saw the .sh file in one of the SourceForge folders, so I'll try placing that there before you reply.

you first need to move into the directory containing Unvanquished.app:
cd path/to/download

Yeah, I was wrong. No .sh file on SourceForge.
Went through all the folders and .app, nothing there.

Should I just download the Mac OS X version?

I just checked the universal zip, there definitely is an unvanquished.sh script in Unvanquished.app/Contents/MacOS/. Are you sure you are downloading the right file? This is the correct URL:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/unvanqu ... p/download

Hmm… Redownloaded just to make sure.

The .sh script is now there, still not working.

Any more ideas?
