Because you intend to be releasing a new patch every week or so, is it at all possible to create some form of auto-updater?

I just find it silly that I (On a Mac, not sure if it's same on a PC.Linux) have to re-download the client and the maps/assets manually.

With linux I could just create a cron job that pulls from the repos, builds, and dl's anything I need. Since OS X is unix based, you could try doing this.

The installer we use is BitRock, which does have a feature in which we can Auto-Update.
