Replacing bot slot

Post by JOURNEYMAN »

Is it possible that when an actual player joins a team, one of the bots is pushed off to spectators? Also, when the teams are unbalanced, bots from spectators can join teams with fewer players.

Grab reality by the balls and squeeeeze!

You could have stax with broken bots, lets say everyone wants to go aliens. They all killwhore. Good game.
I also like this idea, but this problem comes. Another thing is that if a bot builds from a layout (when this feature is added later), it will always build the same layout throughout the game. Gets kinda boring if the layout is a super effective one, or a really shit one.

Not necessarily. It's difficult to sneak up on them and they will chase you until you are dead. Also, they do seemingly organized rushes. Only thing they are lacking is the building structures and sense of priority.

Yes. We've had bots on the US server for a while now. Two teams of bots fight each other constantly. You don't need anything to play with them, just connect to the server.

If you want to run bots locally, you can compile the bots branch.
