[Edited] About mod.io

Post by Derek »

Hello Everyone I have setup a Mod.io site for the game so that Mods can be shared much more easier and we can have a Database.

the site can be accessed here https://unvanquished.mod.io/ click on "Add Addon" or clicking this link: https://unvanquished.mod.io/add

i hope this benifits the community

Note: The initial topic of this thread “You can now upload your mods to mod.io” is not endorsed by the Unvanquished team and that statement is not made by someone who can speak in the name of the Unvanquished project. The title had been edited accordingly.

At this point there is no collaboration between Unvanquished and mod.io and no mod.io integration.

This forum is currently the recommended place to share your addons like mods, maps or texture sets:

We might add a message like xonotic has somewhere
Please don't create anything that looks official (social media accounts, entries on pages like steam, etc.) without contacting us, we like to manage things ourselves to keep the information up to date

Yes. Even recovering accounts from someone who may want to help and is willing to give it back is more time consuming than creating those accounts ourselves.
