Just wondering if anyone plays this very often anymore. Got on numerous times this past Sunday to see if there was play, though I might have missed some late night stuff or had the wrong version possibly.
I try to look at saturday/sunday for users and only somethimes I find some people.
I don't think so. The last time I saw anybody was way in the past. 6 month maybe.
Play during dev game times. You will find players then. :D

OK, first of all, I am new to this forum.
I play Unvanquished whenever I find some folks playing it too. I dearly love this game and it hurts me to see it going down the same road as Tremulous did. This Game need some buzz going on and I think google Ads is the right thing to do. I know its an unusual step for an open source project to rely on advertisement but UNVA is just too good to be left dying.
I take the first step and offer to donate 30 EUR for an advertisement campaign. With our combined financial power maybe we can help UNVA from beeing left for dead!

If I remember well the devs are waiting the beta to start advertising. Maybe the next release will be the beta.
Hey, at least this game has more players than NS2 Combat, hah. I can't even attend the dev games for this game due to the timezone issues.
I don't even know if development is even a thing anymore, didn't get a reply on IRC.
Also regardless of what the unvanquished dev team says, I honestly think it really really, really, needs rebalancing. The gameplay for aliens feels aweful and unfun at the moment.
