We are upgrading things across the site! Obviously the forum has been the first victim. Let us know what you think!

Forum upgrade is great!!

I have upgraded the wiki (http://wiki.unvanquished.net) now so it is running the latest MediaWiki release.

The forums are now running the latest phpbb and can be upgraded easily in future.

I have fixed the [video] tag on the forum, which supports these services:

Wiki issues

Extensions needed
Lots of existing pages are broken or missing content without these:

• Cite

• Parserfunctions

Seeing as the server runs Debian these may have already been installed. You may only need to add the wfLoadExtension() lines.

Account creation
Kharnov says you are working on this. ATM there are a couple of issues:

• Account creation page (on the wiki) needs a textbox to paste recaptcha verif info when javascript is disabled: http://i.imgur.com/ZytnAqR.png

• User dbs between the wiki and the forums are now disconnected

If the user dbs end up being re-joined then you can probably get away with slashing the wiki signup and login pages completely, linking them instead to the forum/whatever ones.

File uploading

Forum issues
When editing posts there is an 'attachments' tab. Clicking on it does nothing for me.

Should be fixed now. `Ishq needs to fix permissions on the files directory on the forum to actually allow attachment uploads though.

I have modified the wiki theme so it's much closer to the forum one.
