Unvanquished Forum

We have been discussing a rename of the project. There are many reasons for this, and most of us would very much like to move away from the Unvanquished name. Although we already have a list of names pooled among us, we'd like a larger group of names to work with. The way it works is that we'll have all names together in a single vote, and the development team as a whole will vote on them. Multiple choices can be made in a single vote, and the old name can still be voted on. We will let you know how that goes when it happens.

But for now, suggest some names in this thread. If your suggestion ends up winning we'll find a way to flatter you somehow. Please be serious with your suggestions, obvious jokes won't be included in our vote. Also, make sure your idea isn't currently being used anywhere.

Here are some ideas. I don't think they're the greatest names, but maybe it can give someone some inspiration

One of my personal favorites has been Extinction.

"clash" sounds like a nice word to be included in a name.

"Team something" is a good idea. This emphasizes the necessity to unite to survive.

@icaro440 & Viech: It sounds good, hmm "species" can be pronounced as in English "spay-syz" or as in Latin "spay-sy-yes", don't know what is the best.
