And I was wondering whether we could contact Phoronix to let them know about the new (and totally cool) artwork that is being created for Unvanquished. Phoronix is a very popular site and they often make articles about open source games so it would be really nice if they have Unvanquished under their radar.

Yes, Unvanquished is quite relevant to this.
I've been holding off on the Phoronix posting until we get some more flashy models in-game, like the acid tube and human male that we have. After that, I think we'll be ready. A month or two?

I'm pretty sure it's meant for some other game.
It wasn't meant for anything. I just practiced on it(my first animation :))
But you know, you may be right, i gave that animation to PixelLight engine developers for their demo. So, technically, it's meant for the PL demo(not intentionally at first though) :)
