Argentine Spanish Progress
Re: Argentine Spanish Progress
Nice job. Are you allowed to upload it onto the translation site? That would be best so other people can help review it from the web portal itself.
Re: Argentine Spanish Progress
Quick question: how distinct is Argentine Spanish from "mainstream" Spanish? Like, will someone from other Spanish-speaking countries understand the translation without any problems?

The sentence structure and grammar is almost the same as in the original Spanish language, but they (South Americans) have replaced some names and adjectives, there are also slight differences in pronunciation.
But there is no major problem. A Spanish speaker, communicates pretty well with a speaker from Argentina or Mexico and vice versa.
I think it should not be easy for an English speaker to appreciate these small differences in the Spanish language, hell, even in Spain, exist pronunciation differences between existing States/Regions
I guess such differences exist between English speakers from U.k and english speakers from U.S., but for me it is impossible to tell whether someone is speaking traditional U.K. English or U.S.A. english

Differences are almost the same than in American and British English. There are also verbs differences, some of them could be embarrassing e.g like the verb "to take" in spain and heavy use of neologisms.

Ivan, would you be able to finish the translation by hand? Assuming, of course, that Pootle still doesn't work for you.
