With a player peak of seventeen, this week was a big success. It's nice to see our regular games are growing and it's also nice that spontaneous matches in the time between them became more frequent recently!

What has been tested?

Gameplay relevant commits since 2014-05-18:

03ab649 Remove the option to evolve to classes of same price for one evo.
94bcefe Make turret continue to shoot as long as it has a LOS to the target's BBOX.
98c882f Overload and improve G_LineOfSight. Fire doesn't spread through entities anymore.
8e80d6e Change turret fire pattern back to continuous.
6f770c3 Allow dretches to bite turrets.
3a0c667 Make the mass driver a non-energy weapon.
90202c2 Cleanup G_WideTrace a bit.

Analysis

I feel the small turret nerf hidden inside 8e80d6e together with the dretch bite now damaging human defense structures made attacking human bases a bit more fun than before.

Some camping happened but the graphs of the chasm match show how build points that your team was able to save until the late game (were any action earns you more momentum, currently rewards double every 30 minutes) can catapult you to the stage you need to deal the finishing blow.
