Lucky. Hats are banned at my school system because some gang always wore some hat and so they banned all hats.

This is forcefull. Whether it's stinking hot or not, you have to wear a hat. The only place that you don't have to wear a hat are places which "you don't play" = computerlab/library XD

In my suburb, no one gives a f*k about halloween, except a few kids who hopelessly do trick -or -treating to people's doors who just ignore door knocking. I think's pretty much the same for rest of australia though.
