Oh yes this, I used to pretty much just edit superpies crosshair .pk3 file to whatever I wanted on tremulous, an easier way would be awesome for Unvanquished.

I think the mara we saw in the concept picture is extremely badass. The only one I don't really like is basi, but it's hard to pinpoint what exactly is wrong with it.
