Re: Tesla concept

Hey there, sorry I did not reply to you sooner. I received your PM; I've just been too busy with school to reply. Anyway, I love the concept of a buildable that actually appears to construct itself. This is something that has been discussed in the past but never really at length. There is, however, ...

Here's a slightly modified / annotated version: http://i.imgur.com/fkA97ZA.jpg (We which of the two of us is not the photoshop master ;)) I've circled what I am referring to as the "charging handles" in the image. That's basically the same as the "cocking handle" -- the thing tha...

Absolutely fantastic work, Phil! That is precisely what we needed. Thank you! Angelo should now be able to begin high poly modeling.

Dropbox appears to be timing out; have you moved/renamed the file (such that I would not be able to see it)?

Thanks, by the way.

Re: starting self compiled version

I should probably amend the instructions on the wiki to include information about checking for conflicting files and the like, as well as to fix whatever problem you were having with Code::Blocks. When I have the time...

It would be nice to have as many options to choose from, as possible.

Finally I'm not the only one saying this. Our current method of distributing the game for Mac users with an installer is as un-Mac friendly as possible.

Re: Unvanquished vs Tremulous

Painsaw → Plasma Cutter, Beam Cutter, etc. This makes a hell of a lot more sense. I can't imagine the humans creating a "pain saw" for use as a weapon--the idea just seems, well, crazy. I can , however, see the idea that the "painsaw" was actually some sort of industrial cutting...

Have you the latest drivers? Nay. Been meaning to update my entire computer, haven't gotten the money yet. No, no, the drivers . That's the software that makes your hardware work. What hardware do you have? (Although if you're getting an error that your OpenGL version is too old, well, you might ne...

Re: Adventures in the admin system from the X servers.

As for the real web integration, this is an interesting feature that has not been explored in depth. Unvanquished may perhaps support MySQL or SQLite in the future depending on large community interest and how well the game picks up. Okay, so this has been discussed in the past. TheDushan had been ...

Sorry about that; right now we do have this page on the wiki, but it's a bit sparse. I don't know the solution to your problem, unfortunately.
