True. Although you can do movement tricks on urban terror, it isnt that valuable in the game, and it is more cod-ish and relies on aiming abilities. Trem on the other hand relies on aiming, movement... etc. well you get the idea.

Re: Tremulous community awareness of Unvanquished: question
If they do rate it though, it'd be funny to rate a project thats a mod of a project [which is already a mod, tremulous] they've already looked at. But i think UV needs more developement, saying most of the gameplay and assets are identical to trem.

Re: gun weight and player speed
Hmm.. If i try to think about this, seeing nexuiz with the 11 (i think thats the max) weapons he can carry... Anyway, i don't think this idea should be implemented. Why? Well gameplay reasons. How i use chaingun is simply aiming and shooting, dodging the goon with sprint on, or circling the dragoon ...

Re: Tremulous map question
Pretty much most of the maps included in the downloads are commonly played in gpp and 1.1, excluding those that spam parse entities something a rather like treecannon. I was thinking, strafserie_b (strafe map) should be included for strafe training to be included in a 'practice' section if there wer...

Re: Small problem upon opening Unvanquished
Hmm...my firewall never showed up that message... but even if it did, my unvanquished was in windowed mode. You should be able to click allow, if your mouse warps back into the window/centre of unvanquished window, click in the unvanquished window or alt-tab into it and press tilde (~) and then clic...

In my opinion, its just the model that seems to bother me a bit. Your animation is fine.

Re: new tyrant animation
That's freaky yet 'cute' although it shouldn't be. Maybe that's just the model. Looks pretty good though.

Re: jetpack changes
Whats SST? I don't remember such a name. I did remember this though, drazilox had it on the [W]onderland server to stop jet campers on maps like treecannon. Also, this jetpack doesn't really make you fall completely, the funny thing is that you can spam 'itemtoggle jetpack' to slowly descend, just l...

Re: jetpack changes
@previous guy: Maybe it should recharge faster by standing on a medistat like how stamina is replenishment is stacked. I like KoRx's jetpack a lot. But having a fast jet that lasts for about 5 seconds as in some games is useless for ckits to accurately build. So in my opinion, the jetpack of KoRx su...

Re: Video promo of Unvanquished
why's it so dark? reminds me of 1.1 client's [not tremfusion] way of building the video because you can't see anything.
Edit: maybe it is?
