Re: Resource game reviews

I'll detail the experience of playing as a stage-locked human on parpax this morning. The match began with building out expansions into the long hall and O-stairs area. And that's about as far as expansions got. The aliens were quick at shutting us down from there on. Fights took place primarily on ...

The server had a huge peak where a lot of people played. Some may refer to it as the 'noob' server but it was a place where seriousness dispersed and fun...

Re: Thunder-b1 Feedback

If the map looks like you have no light (very bright, no shadows) this is the lack of lightmaps loading. You probably have to update your libwebp to fix this. About FPS there are a few things you can do. You can disable bumpmapping with r_normalmapping 0. Make sure r_bloom and r_hdrrendering off too...

Taken note.
Thank-you KenuR.

Re: Getting started in NetRadiant

I use Windows only and have no experience with mapping in any other OS. The only problem I can think of is that radiant and q3map2 and 32bit on windows, so less ram can be used. I have a way to get around this but it is only necessary when you have a fairly large developed map compiling with advance...

Re: Getting started in NetRadiant

To begin with you will need NetRadiant to have the tremulous game pack installed (trem.game folder and trem.game file). So the same files you would use for Tremulous mapping. Unvanquished doesn't have it's own game pack yet. Ingar's NetRadiant packages come with the trem files installed : http://ing...
