Re: Armoury
I've gotta admit this design is a bit of a mystery to me. Where does the gun come out? How do you select a gun? What are the moving parts (if any) in the animation? Where is the maintenance access? Is there a "printing" animation behind the window and a "teleportation animation" ...
Re: SMG
@ hristew, no worries. I don't expect anyone to take my feedback as something they must follow. Final say and artistic freedom belongs with the artists. Wow, I love this gun! Here's the shotgun texture . Since the charging handle is visible in the first person perspective we should be able to animat...

Re: SMG
Wow I am really kicking myself for not noticing it earlier, especially since I commented specifically on it. My bad. :frown: The ejection port should be located directly above the magazine. That is where it is getting the casings to throw out of the gun in the first place. Otherwise they would have ...

Re: Alien airlift
Combine alien airlift with marauder balls for epic lolz. :marauder: :bomb: I was actually thinking it could lift a goon or rant but would move very very slowly because of the heavy weight. That way you could get off some funny raids, but only if the humans are really sleeping. I don't feel too stron...
Re: SMG
A few nitpicks. The trigger A fat middle finger would prevent you from actually pulling the trigger. The charging handle Stannum already pointed it out but wasn't specific. The charging handle moves backwards when you fire or chamber a round. That means the nub need to be at the front of the port (n...

Alien airlift
Someone mentioned giving the flying alien the ability to lift other aliens in another part of the forums and I thought it is worth another look. There are all sorts of interesting possibilities for such a combo. Mainly bombing stuff with crush damage and increasing alien mobility. Examples: Lifting ...

Re: Shrike (2)
Looks good. I agree with viech that the back legs and wings could do with a bit of work. Part of the mechanics proposed for the shrike is pouncing to initiate flight, and therefore the back legs should be powerful enough visually to make that happen. About the wings I agree that they look ...
