The bug will be resolved in the upcoming release of Unvanquished (alpha 22), scheduled for release on December 1st.

The bug where a renderer cannot be loaded in OS X Mavericks has been confirmed and we are working on fixing it. Thank you for your patience.

Hello Karl,
Please make sure you are going to the right folder:
Open Finder.
Press SHIFT+CMD+G to bring up the "Go to the folder" dialog.
Type in "~/Library/Application Support/Unvanquished/main" (without quotation marks).

Friendly Fire should not be enabled until such a time that we do not use hit box detection. It is very unintuitive for a player to have to account for invisible boxes.

Was this skill level from 1.1.0? Last I checked, in Unvanquished the Lucifer Cannon is like an over powered Mass Driver.
