leg movement vs speed?

hi everyone i just noticed that the leg-movement of the humans (as well some aliens, but there you cant see it anyway) does not match the velocity they are running at, which sometimes causes some irritation. is it possible to match them (at least bring them closer together)? thank you for your work!...
