Hard to read what's on that Screenshot, but one thing, that is always worth trying out is switching between the available renderers.
You can do this with starting the game with one of these at a time:

Code: Select all

+set cl_renderer gl3
+set cl_renderer gl


gl3 is the new renderer, gl the old one

You might be interested in knowing that Unvanquished already has a working Unicode support thanks to Anomalous, that also can be used in game and is used with the translations.

That only means, that they won't provide you with a gamepack for tremulous. The map file format will still be compatible.

Elevators get used far less than ladders, mainly because they are currently really hard and annoying to set up by mappers to work correctly (although we are working on changing that). Ladders, on the other hand can be seen more often compared to that. Parpax uses quite a few of them. Yocto has them ...
