Re: Server, debian 7.6 (Universal Zip)

This likely isn't Debian-specific. I don't know about the universal zip, but unvanquished-server works fine here. You'll find some config files are in /etc/unvanquished-server; server files are in /var/games/unvanquished-server/.unvanquished; .pk3s belong in /var/games/unvanquished/pkg. You'll need ...

Re: Debian Wheezy - Not running

This is now worked around in /etc/default/unvanquished-server (debian/unvanquished-server.default), so it'll be in the next set of .debs.

Alpha 27, flying in your direction

New jetpack; use of Native Client; texture packs; translations; lots of behind-the-scenes changes. New jetpackWe have a new jetpack model. It has animations. It still runs out of fuel, though, but we plan to leave that as it is. A good pl...

Re: Alpha 26. Batteries not included.
Well… spin-up is gone, or effectively so; turrets basi...

We've got a not-self-signed SSL certificate!

Yes, it's true! There are still a few rough edges, so expect a few warnings from your browser for the moment. But, still, no self-signed certificate! We took advantage of (plug alert) GlobalSign's open-source SSL certificate offer which remains open to us unless we do something silly like go commerc...

Alpha 26. Batteries not included.

We've been busy tweaking and adjusting and fixing things for this release. Batteries not included. GameplayThe battery pack has been discharged and sent for recycling, and weapon magazine sizes have been adjusted to compensate. The radar item now uses the backpack slot (which means that, once again,...

Alpha 25 – feeling the squeeze

Less is more; new models, improved textures; humans are prey. Two years since our first release! What, already? Doesn't time fly… we've seen many changes to the code base, new maps, new models… modellers have come and gone, coders and mappers have come and (usually) stayed… Another big .pk3…We've onl...

Re: Sensor

If these are meant to be deployed on walls etc. as well as floors, they're all too tall – target bound is a sphere, with some protrusions, e.g. feet, into the smallest containing cube. (I think that they're too tall anyway.)

It was restarted soon after I noticed that it was down. It'll be updated again soon anyway – point release in progress.
