Re: Gameplay elements

I love this! :3

About map control, I think builders should be rewarded a lot more than what they are now. Some incentive should be given to people so they would want to build.

Re: Balance changes and ideas.

It sounds like a lot of you want to make the game easy for new players. Don't do this. Don't make it easy, make it easier! Not to a point where someone can come in and easily hold their own against a player with years+ more experience than them, but not so much as they'd just be clueless on what to...

Re: Luci 1.1

Finally, I will discuss my most favorite part of all about using the 1.1 luci: blaster switching! This is definitely a feature, not a bug. This is what I miss the most about the game when playing humans on gpp. I have itemtoggle blaster bound to a button on the side of my mouse, so whenever the luc...

Re: Balance changes and ideas.

I've noticed all of your suggestions are often things newer players complain about "Dragoon is OP!!!, Shotgun is too hard!!!, OMG I Can't hit with pulse!!!, Yea Tyrant is awesome!!!, Oh wait someone else has tyrant... Tyrant is OP!!!!" Good point. A lot of people do this. How long have yo...

Re: HotfixHud v5.2 for Unvanquished

I'm pretty sure you can achieve something like this through a nifty bind, thing about that however is you'll probably find your scroll wheel on your blaster a lot while you're in the middle of playing and it can become inconvenient. If you want though, you can do bind MOUSE1 "+attack;+activate&...

Re: Balance changes and ideas.

Yes, but if you had that, then as soon as aliens got s3, everyone would evolve to rants and just charge the human base, and charge out, taking little damage in the process. Then they would go and do it again. SD would be death to humans, because the rants could inflict monstrous damage without taki...

Re: Balance changes and ideas.

snip Also whats with the Marauder having wallclimb? Mara's don't have wall climb, and what's with the rant saying the devs are doing nothing lol. I'm not even going to respond to that, if you believe that, then, oh well. Anyways, here's an idea, I wouldn't mind the 375 hp, but since you ...

Re: Balance changes and ideas.

Kreative currently changes made in Unvanquished aren't really significant yet (especially with luci/rant), it's really similar to GPP. Of course I was relating to Unvanquished gameplay. The changes are small, but I wouldn't say insignificant. :p Of course, a bunch more changes will be coming in the...

Re: Testing

Once you compile your map, put it in your fs_homepath base folder. (Windows: C:/Users/Username/AppData/Roaming/Daemon/main/, Linux: ~/.Unvanquished/main/) sv_pure 0 (Probably unneeded) /devmap nameofyourmap And for now most people are using NetRadiant and regular Trem packages and just using them fo...
